Namiba Terra xOvo Cave

A laying system specially developed for dry and semi-dry terrariums and provides reptiles with the environmental factor necessary for egg laying. A connecting plug with capillary properties provides permanent humidity from a water bowl under the egg-laying box to the egg-laying substrate. Excess water flows through a drain back to the water container.

By controlled positioning of the Ovo Cave near a heating mat or a spotlight, a temperature of around 26°-30°C (depending on the reptile species) can be maintained. The temperature can be monitored with Namiba-Terra's digital thermometer (Art. No.: NT0691) with an external sensor. Eggs are removed to an egg hatcher with vermiculite or perlite.
