Treefrogs of Africa

This excellent review of frogs from the families Rhacophoridae, Hyperoliidae, and Hyla found in Africa presents concise, standardized accounts of 254 species, subspecies, and/or geographic races. Individual species accounts provide information on recognition, vocalization, reproduction, and habitat for each form when known, and include maps of b/w spot distributions. Also included are general information chapters that briefly review the taxonomy, distribution patterns, conservation, collection, and preservation and captive care of African tree frogs.
